At Casterton Golf Course, we can cater for golfers of all ages and abilities. Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to improve and take your game to the next level, our Level 3 PGA Professional, Gareth Couzens, can help.

Gareth has over 20 years’ experience in teaching individuals, groups, juniors, beginners and low handicap players. He is at Casterton all day every Tuesday and offers private coaching and group coaching to adults and juniors on our main course, par 3 course, practice areas, including the Sim Studio.  He also offers custom fitting.

NEW BEGINNERS GROUP LESSON – STARTING TUESDAY 4 MARCH

Every Tuesday at 10am – £9 per session, pay as you go

There is also an intermediate group lesson every Tuesday morning at 11am.  Spaces limited to 8 people so please book in advance.

Private lessons are the fastest way to improve, provided you practice in between.  Lessons are offered to beginners, intermediates or those more advanced players wishing to focus on refining certain aspects of their golf game.  Lessons are taken on our main course, par 3 course, short-game practice areas and can also take place in the Sim Studio.

COACHING PRICES 2025

1/2 hour  £30 (£25 junior)

x 3 1/2 hour £85 (£65 junior)

x 6 1/2 hour £155 (£120 junior)

SIM Studio Lessson/Data Introduction

1 hour for an individual or up to 4 people – £50

3 x 1 hours for an individual or up to 4 people – £140

CUSTOM FIT

Gareth can offer custom fit club fitting sessions. The brands that he can fit are Callaway, Taylor Made, Ping, Srixon, Titleist and Vokey Wedges. Fitting sessions are £40 which will be reimbursed with a purchase.

GROUP Coaching – Tuesdays at 10am (beginners) and 11am (intermediate/ advanced players)

JUNIOR Coaching will return in April 2025.

Year 2 – Year 5    TUESDAY 4:30pm to 5:30pm

Year 6 – Year 8    FRIDAY 4:30pm to 5:30pm

year 9+       FRIDAY 5:30pm to 6:30pm
